  • Emission reduction targets

In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we intend to reduce our Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions by 50% vs. our baseline year no later than 2040.

  • Carbon reduction projects

The following carbon reduction measures and projects have been completed or implemented and will be in effect when performing the contract.

  • ‘We have implemented annual energy efficiency audits to reduce office energy emissions.
  • We have limited speed of the vans when travelling to reduce emissions.
  • We have implemented making sure lights are turned off after leaving any area. Lights are not used during daytime if sufficient natural light to reduce emissions.

We also have a number of other initiatives planned in the immediate future:

  • We will encourage all workers to car share if possible, and one of our workers has an electric car that they can charge at site if needed, to promote sustainable travel and reduce emissions and energy use.
  • We source from local suppliers where possible and pick up parts on the way to jobs if on route to reduce emissions and energy use.
  • DC2 organise logistics together in the same areas or stop offs for repairs if engineers are on the way back from other sites to reduce emissions and energy use.
  • We will look at ordering parts/materials straight to site to limit suppliers’ emissions and energy use.
